Follow the example of NZ and Taiwan. Japan too. Life here is almost normal. New shops opening. All restaurants busy. Dentists etc busy. Ever9ne wears a mask. We all use gel and wash hand. Universities function normally. No drunken mobs.
Hospitality industries are the first to go when there is an existential threat to people; in trying to remain open, they are acting against the main effort to contain the danger, you know like how the airlines allowed this virus full access to the whole world, and why? Because they wanted to continue making money, regardless of the danger to us. Have some clarity. why, if we’d done the lockdown right, we’d be coming out of it now! We could be opening the surviving businesses by now! All the money-talk has put us in more danger for a longer period of time.
We should be closing the schools too.
We must act to limit the damage by doing the hard thing now.
Please don’t force the horror of triage on to our doctors and nurses and families. Not when it could be totally avoided.
Understand the sheer danger we are in from this threat. It goes far beyond you and yours. It is an existential threat to us together as a global race. Something Protean.
