I live in Northern Ireland. I am not Irish. I am not European. I am British
by birth. And an ulsterman by the grace of god. So why am I in a customs
Union with Europe. Time for people to stop appeasing republicans. And
let us unionists. Get on with being in the uk.
Northern Ireland, being part of the UK, has a right to expect the seamless transport of goods to and from England, Scotland and Wales..The EU is determined to disrupt this seamless trade. It will be the cause of any friction in the area..It is logical to expect that the 4 countries of the UK exchange goods and services with each other without any impediment. The fact that the EU wanted Northern Ireland to be part of the EU’s internal market and that the UK agreed to it will be the cause of antagonism for many years to come.If I was the EU I wouldn’t be wanting to build customs posts within Northern Ireland, that would be a rather foolish move and even more foolish if they were to be manned by EU customs officials in uniform.

Brexit is not a threat to peace in NI, it’s only the terrorists who threaten peace.
