Reading the comments I now understand why the numbers are not staying low.
It seems a lot of people think they know better than all the top medical officials, and how do they know better? Because they accept facebook conspiracy memes as real news.
I find it funny how originally is was how many deaths and the rising death rate but now that narrative doesn’t fit anymore because deaths are decreasing rapidly they change to the number of cases, ignoring deaths and also ignoring the fact that there are more tests which cause the increase cases they also ignore how many cases are serious which is also a very very slim percent

A couple of days away from the 50000 a day promise .Not going to happen (again) (500000 deaths last time,wrong).The BBC is biased.
