Taliban is only excuse
I have deep worries about when the US and the UK call it a day and scramble. These people who remain will be left to the mercy of the Taliban. I have horrible images of hundreds and hundreds of people being lined up and shot in front of those shipping containers and then buried by the Taliban when foreign troops leave.
Afghanistan is a very large country and has great wealth the TALIBAN are well capable of financially supporting the return of all Afghan refugees to their own country after their holidays in other locations!
